
Meet Ismat Dajani - Attorney
Ismat Dajani immigrated to the United States at the age of 1 and was raised in Stockton, California. Ismat attended elementary school, high school, and community college in Stockton. At Lincoln High School, Ismat was a member of the Mock Trial team from his Sophomore to Senior year. During his time at San Joaquin Delta College, Ismat was a writer for The Collegian before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley in 2017.
Ismat graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2019. During his time there he continued his passion for writing by joining his colleagues in reviving Berkeley's philosophy journal and facilitating the Philosophy Forum. He gave two presentations at the Philosophy Forum: Ayn Rand and Objectivism and Jean Jacques Rosseau's Social Contract.
After graduating in 2019, Ismat went back home to Stockton to work at his family's business before starting law school in 2021. Ismat graduated from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 2024. While at McGeorge Ismat was a member of and served as Secretary of the McGeorge Chapter of the Federalist Society. He was also honored with being able to work at McGeorge Community Legal Service's Elder and Health Law clinic serving elders in the local Sacramento community from 2023 to 2024. Ismat always had a passion for helping others and in recognition of this passion received the Melissa C. Brown Clinic Honors Award for his service at CLS.
Beyond writing and his passion for helping others, in his free time Ismat enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, video games, reading classics, watching movies, and sports.
